Position Overview

DMA is seeking a highly skilled Tax Technology Consultant to join our team. As a Tax Technology Consultant, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions to today's complex indirect tax issues using emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute as a team member to identify, design, and implement technology to support complex customer projects with a focus on cloud-based sales tax solutions.
  • Learn and utilize DMA's project methodology to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure the successful completion of project deliverables and activities.
  • Document business processes and understand/recommend best practices for sales and use tax automation initiatives.
  • Contribute to project management by creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
  • Work and interact with customers in the configuration of their tax and business systems.
  • Train tax users to effectively use applications.
  • Monitor client projects, communicating progress on assignments.
  • Connect, engage, and build relationships with DMA's clients and alliance partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting, Mathematics, or related field required.
  • 0-1 year of software project delivery experience.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and conceptualize accounting and tax processes and procedures.
  • Receptive to feedback and willing to learn and grow.
  • Experience with Microsoft products, data analytics tools, and cloud-based business solutions.
  • Desire to work in the technology industry with a fast-paced, growing company.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
