Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead our Payment & Settlement Services (PSS) team. As a key member of our architecture function, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the strategic architecture for PSS, ensuring alignment with ING's overall technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a comprehensive architecture plan for PSS, encompassing both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments, including product, operations, and technology, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of PSS solutions.
  • Develop and maintain architectural standards, policies, and principles that support the adoption of innovative technologies and application innovations.
  • Foster a high-performing culture within the PSS Architecture community, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing among Solution Architects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and banking consumer and enterprise customer journeys to inform architectural decisions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role, with a strong track record of successfully leading architecture teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Deep understanding of banking technologies, roadmaps, and industry complexities.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with executive stakeholders and external technology partners.
  • Able to navigate complex organizational environments and drive change initiatives.
