About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager to spearhead the modernization of our flagship marine product, the Starfix Navigation and Survey Orchestration Suite. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the product's evolution to better serve its end users in the era of remote operations, uncrewed vessel operations, and digital workflows.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of user needs and translate them into a product vision, OKRs, development roadmap, and investment plan for the product.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including designers, developers, sister product managers, operation managers, customer care, and leadership, to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
- Work closely with sister product managers to build products that leverage the Starfix framework, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Assist in defining and managing the product's budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and financial planning.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, with a focus on frequent releases, high-quality products, and automated performance monitoring.
- Bring technical and operational expertise to the Innovation team to support the creation of user stories, prioritization of the backlog, and provide feedback to the development team.
- Oversee the Innovation Agile process for the product, ensuring that demonstration, planning, testing, and implementation activities meet expectations.
Your Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing a product that serves both end users and sister product teams.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into a realistic, timely, and cost-effective plan.
- Drive for innovation and experience in the development of complex software products, including microservices, containers, distributed processes, and real-time architectures.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels.
- Strong cross-cultural awareness, excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), and experience with marine survey software and use cases.
