We invite applications for the position of Tenure-Track Professor in the School of Chinese Medicine , available on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the potential for renewal and tenure consideration based on performance.
Candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- A recognized Bachelor's degree in Chinese Medicine, eligible for registration with the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong, alongside a Ph.D. in Chinese Medicine or related disciplines;
- A proven record of excellence in research and academic contributions within the realm of Chinese Medicine;
- Significant teaching experience in higher education institutions;
- Extensive practical experience in the field;
- Demonstrated international recognition for academic and professional achievements;
- A history of community involvement;
- Familiarity with the East Asian context, particularly in relation to Hong Kong and mainland China;
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages.
A competitive salary package will be offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience, including annual leave and medical benefits. The salary tax is capped at 15% of gross income. The position includes a contract-end gratuity and contributions to a retirement benefits scheme, amounting to up to 15% of the basic salary. Housing benefits may also be applicable.
