Mechanical Lead Engineer in EUV Infrastructure Design

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Lead Engineer to join our team in the EUV infrastructure design group. As a lead engineer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and documenting complex mechanical systems.
About the RoleIn this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate performance specifications into design specifications for sub-modules. You will guide technical discussions towards the best design solution that meets all requirements and implementation constraints. Additionally, you will ensure that designs are properly documented with accurate models and drawings.
You will also cooperate with internal customers and suppliers to gather input for the hardware roadmap and close the feedback loop. Furthermore, you will coach and guide junior designers in making high-quality designs.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical and industrial engineering or related fields. You should have solid design experience in relevant industries and at least 2-5 years of experience in a lead engineer role.
You should have excellent knowledge in the field of manufacturability of mechanical parts and experience with NX (Unigraphics) or similar CAD programs. Strong communication skills, including written and verbal, are essential for this role.
