The Technical Specialist Electrical and Automation will play a crucial role in Damen Shipyards' design and delivery of maritime projects. This position involves working closely with various internal departments, contractors, and teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in concept design works and validation, collaborating with the Design and Proposal team and the Engineering team.
- Work in multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement electrical and automation systems for Damen's maritime projects.
- Conduct calculations, including budgetary calculations, and identify potential risks in the engineering process.
- Develop and implement methodologies and tooling choices to ensure quality and efficiency in the engineering process.
- Participate in design reviews to monitor quality and ensure compliance with Damen's standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in the engineering process and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain a good command of the English language to effectively communicate with colleagues and clients.
- Participate in professional and personal development through training and education.
