About the role

We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure that our Financial Economic Crime domain data assets are properly managed, protected, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining procedures to monitor and enforce data governance policies and standards
  • Collecting, reviewing, and facilitating data definitions dialogues
  • Collecting data quality requirements, tracking data quality, and resolving data-related issues
  • Collaborating with DFC departments to implement data management best practices and provide guidance on data usage, security, and privacy
  • Designing and implementing data governance tooling and technologies to support data management activities

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of data governance principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
