Regulatory Compliance Specialist

About the Role
NIBC is seeking a skilled Regulatory Affairs Officer to join our team. In this role, you will analyze complex regulatory texts and their impact on our bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Track relevant regulatory developments and assess their legal impact on NIBC;
- Support colleagues across the bank in assessing operational impact;
- Assist in implementing new regulatory changes;
- Contribute to reporting on regulatory change to senior management;
- Provide ad-hoc legal regulatory advice to management and departments;
Requirements
- Master's degree in law, preferably with a specialization in financial regulatory law;
- At least 3 years of experience in a comparable position in the financial industry, a law firm, or a financial regulatory authority;
- Good knowledge of Dutch and EU financial laws and regulations;
- Experience with making impact assessments and translating laws into practical advice;
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Able to simplify complex matters and build up a network;
