About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Advisor to join our Global Consulting team at ING Netherlands. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice to management to enable strategic and tactical decision making and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose complex business challenges and design solutions to operationalize strategic initiatives
  • Deliver advice to support decision making and enable execution, highlighting the qualitative and quantitative impact of different scenarios
  • Design and co-create methods and tooling to empower senior stakeholders to prioritize and deliver on their purpose
  • Bring an outside perspective on development of craftsmanship and methodology, staying up-to-date with key trends and developments relevant to our industry
  • Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to the development of relevant expertise and creating alignment across different areas of the bank on strategic themes
Requirements
  • Master's degree
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in management consultancy, ideally with a big 4 firm, bringing a thorough understanding of consultancy methodologies and functional/technical subject matter expertise relevant to ING
  • Ability to deliver individually and/or manage a medium-sized team
  • Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in the financial sector is a plus, bringing knowledge and experience of financial industry activities, processes, key products, and support tools
  • Excellent level of English (written and spoken), Dutch is an advantage
