Cost Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Cost Accounting Manager to join our team at Yacht. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and leadership to our Finance and Operations leaders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accounting and reporting procedures to ensure accurate product costs and manufacturing performance reporting.
- Ensure product inventories and manufacturing assets are adequately safeguarded and financial reporting is accurate.
- Partner with Manufacturing Directors and Plant ESC to optimize finance-related operational decisions.
- Drive continuous financial improvement through labor analysis, gross profit analysis, inventory analysis, and spending analysis.
- Ensure financial reports and records are prepared in compliance with US GAAP and BD financial policies.
- Ensure financial controls are maintained and the requirements of the Sarbanes/Oxley Act are met.
- Assist internal and external auditors with their periodic review of financial records.
- 3+ years of relevant professional accounting and/or finance experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent).
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience (SAP preferred).
- Audit experience is a plus.
