Job Summary

Smith & Associates is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Electronics Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As an Electronics Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electronic components and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify electronic components and products against manufacturer specifications using various equipment and techniques.
  • Receive and ship orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Unload inbound shipments from various carriers and inspect for damage or defects.
  • Organize and store components and products in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Utilize proprietary software to complete the component inspection and receiving process.
  • Examine components for physical defects and document any issues.
  • Verify Purchase Order/Sales Order requirements are met and communicate with relevant parties when discrepancies arise.
  • Complete internal and external labels per customer requirements.
  • Document product and shipping condition through photographs.
  • Package materials in appropriate containers with sufficient padding and protection.
  • Place required paperwork in/on shipments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience and/or component inspection experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35lbs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel a plus.
