Job Summary

Smith & Associates is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Electronics Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As an Electronics Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of electronic components and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify information visually, using various microscopic equipment and the naked eye, to ensure the component matches manufacturer specifications.
  • Receive and ship orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Unload all inbound shipments from various carriers and inspect for damage or defects.
  • Open boxes, separate product, and place in bins along with the waybill and pack list.
  • Utilize our proprietary system to complete, in detail, the component inspection and receiving process.
  • Examine components for physical defects and verify Purchase Order/Sales Order requirements are met.
  • Communicate with internal teams when discrepancies arise and document product and shipping condition through pictures.
  • Package material in appropriate containers with sufficient padding and protection.
  • Place required paperwork in/on shipments.

Requirements

  • Written and oral communication skills are essential for this role.
  • Multi-tasking and organization skills are required to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience and/or component or product inspection experience is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Knowledge of the electronics distribution field is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • The ability to lift up to 35lbs is required for this role.

Job Type

Full-time/Regular position with a non-exempt status.
