We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Platform Engineering Manager to lead our data systems team at Optiver. As a key member of our technology organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data platforms to support our trading and research activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of senior data engineers to design and implement scalable and efficient data platforms.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to identify data requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps for data systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Partner with other teams to integrate data systems with trading and research platforms.
- 3+ years of experience in leading data engineering teams and designing data platforms.
- Expertise in designing and implementing scalable and efficient data systems, including data warehousing, ETL, and data lakes.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data security.
- Experience with big data solutions, Linux containerization, and research frameworks.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
