Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our R&D department at ASSA ABLOY. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development and technical coordination of new and exciting products, including complex mechanics, electronics, and firmware.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and technically coordinate new products and product features based on customer needs, industry standards, and business objectives.
  • Coordinate a team of development engineers from product requirements to the start of production.
  • Provide leadership by working collaboratively, sharing ideas, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate engineering teams to clarify work packages, manage trade-off studies, and resolve engineering issues.
  • Analyse customer and product feedback, and incorporate suggestions and improvements into product designs.
  • Work closely with product managers, manufacturers, quality, and other engineers in developing effective product specifications.
  • Develop and maintain accurate, comprehensive product documentation and engineering files.
  • Implement product testing and validation plans.
