About the Role

The CyberPeace Institute seeks a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Fundraising Specialist to support our mission of protecting the most vulnerable in cyberspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the CyberPeace Institute's programs and activities.
  • Manage relationships with current and potential donors, including major gifts, grants, and corporate sponsorships.
  • Present the CyberPeace Institute's mission and impact to various audiences, including stakeholders, partners, and donors.
  • Research and track funding opportunities to support the organization's strategic priorities.
  • Draft and submit grant applications and proposals to secure funding for the CyberPeace Institute's programs and activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, donations, and correspondence.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in cybersecurity and fundraising.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising or business development, preferably in a nonprofit organization.
  • Relevant studies in business management, development, economics, marketing, communications, or international relations.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, reporting, and experience with donor databases is an asset.
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written. Knowledge of French is an asset.
  • Demonstrated commitment to work in NGOs - nonprofit sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with storytelling creativity.
  • Proficient in MS Office and design/marketing tools (e.g. Canva).
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Located in Geneva or The Hague, or full-remote (CET timezone), this role requires occasional travel (less than 20%) to attend meetings, conferences, or site visits.
