Process Engineer

DP World Australia is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team in Waalwijk. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support for our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Operations team in meeting engineering goals and objectives, including providing technical support for production setup, change, and modification.
- Coordinate and guide line technicians to complete first-line support and coordinate technically with suppliers and customers.
- Evaluate and provide preventative and corrective actions for production downtime.
- Support NPI and internal/external projects throughout the engineering life cycle.
- Develop and update existing headcount analysis tools to analyze the impact of changes on business and prepare summary reports for Operations, IT, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Sustain, develop, and configure processes to increase production rates and quality of output, manage engineering budgets, and measure standard time.
- Prepare engineering studies to ensure operational processes are reflected in operational and strategic calculations.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, and contractors from an engineering perspective.
- Make informed recommendations and decisions related to the purchase or lease of capital equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent, preferably with a technical background in Logistics, Process, Industrial, or Manufacturing.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing environments.
- Experience in (re)manufacturing, packaging, and/or innovation of line production environments.
- Proven process improvement experience and skills utilizing common improvement tools.
- People management skills and ability to work in a team.
- Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Demonstrated ability in relevant computer skills such as MS Office, Visio, AutoCAD, MiniTab, and Project management tools.
