About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to join our team at Synechron. As a Senior Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data and analytics solutions within the cloud, from data ingestion to visualization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data and analytics solutions within the cloud, ensuring scalability and reliability.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader for clients, guiding them in defining their data and analytics strategies and architectures.
  • Lead a team of data engineers and consultants in designing, developing, testing, and implementing data analytics solutions.
  • Communicate complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, using excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Drive the creation of cloud-based data and analytics propositions and support the sale of solutions to clients.
  • Guide and coach junior and mid-level team members to develop the required skills and progress in their careers.

Requirements

  • A degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture and/or solution architecture/design.
  • Cloud data experience, preferably with AWS.
  • 3+ years of experience in successfully delivering data and analytics projects, including leading an offshore DEV team, mentoring, and reviewing code and documentation.
  • 4+ years of experience in ETL/ELT, including programming experience, orchestration tooling, logging and monitoring, CI/CD, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in ER and dimensional modeling and BI and data visualization.
  • Experience with the entire data and analytics lifecycle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
