Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Lead Robotics Architect to shape the future of horticulture automation. In this key role, you'll lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge robotics solutions that will revolutionize farming practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architectural design and development of robotic systems for agricultural tasks such as planting, harvesting, crop monitoring, and precision spraying.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components into cohesive robotic platforms.
  • Define system requirements, architectures, and interfaces based on understanding of agricultural workflows, environmental constraints, and end-user needs.
  • Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies, methodologies, and best practices in robotics, automation, machine learning, and sensor technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Work closely with product management and business development teams to translate customer requirements and market insights into actionable engineering plans and product roadmaps.
  • Lead technology evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Represent the company in industry conferences, technical forums, and collaborative research initiatives to build partnerships and establish thought leadership in Agritech space.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, a proven track record of 3-5 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying robotic systems, preferably in agricultural or related domains, strong expertise in robotics software development, including ROS, perception, motion planning, and control algorithms, proficiency in mechanical design and simulation, and familiarity with principles of mechatronics.
