About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Academy Director to lead the Technical Domain Academy at NHL Stenden. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of the academy, fostering collaboration among teams, and representing the academy's interests both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Technical Domain Academy, aligning with NHL Stenden's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of directors, professors, and support staff to achieve academic excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the university to promote interdisciplinary research and education.
  • Represent the Technical Domain Academy at national and international levels, building relationships with industry partners and academic institutions.
  • Ensure the quality and accreditability of teaching and research programs, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, with significant experience in leadership and management.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic change and innovation in a complex organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the engineering and technology sectors, with a vision for the future of these fields.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a focus on servant leadership and respect for colleagues.
