About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Android Team Lead to join our team at Coolblue. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for the optimal performance of your team, supporting them with their personal goals and growth, as well as technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and mentor team members on technical and soft skills, providing feedback to help them improve.
  • Review code, promoting best practices and maintaining a high level of professionalism and a pragmatic culture.
  • Solve problems using accepted best practices and principles, such as TDD/BDD, SOLID, and design patterns.
  • Lead by example, guiding the team through technical decisions and ensuring a high level of technical expertise.
Requirements
  • Over 6 years of experience as an Android developer, with bonus points for experience with iOS and C#.
  • Experience in giving feedback, motivating, and coaching developers on technical and soft skills.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain technical decisions to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Experience working in a Scrum environment and following Agile practices.
  • Experience working in teams with different nationalities.
  • Fluency in English.
