We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our guests.
Main Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to maintain the integrity of our facilities, including painting, repairs, and adjustments to furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on mechanical components, including hinges, locks, and other equipment, to ensure smooth operation and extend their lifespan.
- Respond promptly to electrical issues, such as malfunctioning outlets, flickering lights, or faulty appliances, to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
- Utilize effective communication skills to understand guest concerns and provide clear explanations of the steps taken to resolve electrical problems.
- Use basic electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters, to measure voltage, continuity, and other parameters to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
- Communicate with the Engineering Coordinator, Chief Engineer, and other departments to ensure seamless operation and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Perform daily measurements and maintenance of the pool and report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries to the Engineering Coordinator.
- Minimum of one-year experience in a similar role.
- Fluency in English.
- Work Permit for The Netherlands is required.
