Senior Product Manager, Optimization Insights & Performance

We're building the most customer-focused financial technology platform through an automation-first approach to optimizing the full payment flow. Our machine-learning models optimize for the outcome that maximizes conversion for our merchants, while minimizing costs. We build tools that enable the best possible shopper experience when it comes to payments and help our merchants squeeze more revenue out of every transaction while keeping fraud risks under control.

Your Role

  1. You'll define and build data products that deliver actionable performance optimization insights for our merchants.
  2. You'll be responsible for defining and implementing the north star metrics and insights that Adyen's machine learning teams use to evaluate their product success and develop their product roadmaps.
  3. You'll discover, build, and deliver actionable data products for our merchants to identify and activate revenue and risk optimization opportunities.
  4. You'll own performance measurement frameworks for a wide range of machine learning products, including Risk Analysis and Fraud Detection, Authentication Optimization, Payment Acceptance, and Fraud dispute and management.
  5. You'll be an evangelist of our Revenue & Risk Optimization products, their impact, and our culture to colleagues, customers, and partners.
  6. You'll set a high bar in performance measurement quality and build a strong data-driven culture for our teams.
  7. You'll work collaboratively with other product managers, data scientists, engineers, analytics teams, account managers, Sales and Marketing teams, and our customers.

What We're Looking For

  1. You have conceived of and launched successful products at scale with quantifiable value to large enterprise customers (8+ years in product management).
  2. You have experience in one or more of the following: big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence, experimentation, data analytics.
  3. You have experience in the world of ecommerce, payments, fintech.
  4. You can guide an engineering team with the right questions to answer, turn those answers into business value, and leverage analytics to drive product decisions.
  5. You can take complex technical products and simplify them into intuitive and valuable user experiences.
  6. You have excellent organizational and communication skills and know how to manage a project from conception to maturity.
  7. You can successfully operate in a global organization working with teams across different offices and timezones.
  8. You are a quick learner and take a 'launch fast and iterate' approach to tackling problems.
  9. You love to act as a mentor and help guide talent to make optimal decisions.
  10. You take pride in putting your team first, you value teams over ego.
