We are seeking a skilled Process Automation Support and Sustain Specialist to join our team at DOW BENELUX B.V. in Terneuzen, Netherlands. As a key member of our Process Automation discipline within TES (Technical Expertise and Support), you will play a crucial role in supporting process-information systems and ensuring their smooth operation.

**Job Summary**

">

The Process Automation Support and Sustain Specialist will be responsible for solving problems in currently installed process-information systems, both locally and globally, including on-call service. You will also participate in projects for the configuration, design, development, and implementation of process-information systems.

**Key Responsibilities**

">
  • ">
  • Participate in an integrated team for supporting process-information system applications, both in-house and commercial;">
  • Solve problems with process-information systems and networks (software and hardware) and report the solution in a ticket management system;">
  • Provide telephone support and on-site support to resolve problems with the process-information system;">
  • Test and develop new applications to support the process-information needs of chemical production processes;">
  • Provide training for staff and share knowledge with colleagues;">
  • Work together with Project Leads, Manufacturing Representatives, Process Control Engineers, Environmental Engineers and Process Safety Engineers to develop, configure and implement process-information installations;">

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A technical bachelor's degree (e.g. ICT, Computer Science, or engineering);">
  • Ability to meet minimum safety training requirements and apply safety standards;">
  • Programming skills, such as in a scripting language, T-SQL, and ability to query web-interfaces;">
  • Accuracy when implementing configurations;">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;">
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and proficiency in English and Dutch languages;">
  • Ability to be on call some evenings and weekends for a local and global rotating on-call schedule.">

**Desired Skills and Qualifications**

We are looking for candidates with:

  • ">
  • Relevant experience with process information systems and/or chemical production;">
  • Experience with distributed control systems (ABB Industrial IT), MES (Manufacturing Execution System) systems, OPC variants and industrial communications is a plus;">
  • Ability to detect, assess, analyze problem situations within the process-automation and process information environment and peripheral systems and provide a suitable solution;">
  • Good communication (written and oral) language skills and ability to lead a team; Proficiency in the local language is a must for local support in key hub locations and countries;">
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and ability to distinguish network components;">
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Windows.">

**Salary and Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary ranging from €55,000 to €85,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a range of benefits, including:
