Job Summary
The Supply Planner is responsible for planning the Aerosols production plants to deliver perfect On Time In Full, against lowest costs and optimized inventory levels. This role drives the Supply Meetings within the S&OP process in the Business Unit and links this to the divisional S&OP process. Regular alignments take place with production schedulers at the plants and demand planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Draw up a weekly production plan for the production lines of the factories within the Aerosol network.
- Achieve optimal inventory levels by defining inventory settings per item.
- Manage slow-moving and obsolete stocks with the Sales Team.
- Follow up on off-target KPI results to understand root causes and drive improvements on KPIs.
- Lead monthly supply reviews as part of the S&OP process.
- In case of supply risks, create supply scenarios for management to take decisions.
- Engage with customers on how to drive improvements within planning.
- Weekly alignments with internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsible for the planning part of phase-in/phase-out projects.
- Manage/participate in supply chain projects within the Business Unit/Plants but also at the divisional level.
- Contribute to the implementation and roll-out of a new planning tool.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business Economics.
- 3-5 years of experience in a demand and/or supply planning role.
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
- Able to challenge with the right arguments.
- Change management skills.
- Advanced planning skills.
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Increased ability to cooperate.
- Accurate and precise.
