About this internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst Intern to join our Commodity Trading and Sourcing (C&TS) team at JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for participating in daily and weekly governance and control tasks related to our commodity hedging activities.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the team in month-end closing and reporting activities
  • Work on activities in the purchase to pay process, like invoice reconciliations and support with vendor queries and issues
  • Execute a project or assignment specifically for your study or thesis, tailored to your interests and skills

About you
  • Academic Program: You are enrolled in a BSc or MSc program for the entirety of the internship.
  • Skillset: You possess strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English.
  • Personal traits: You have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
Eligibility criteria
  • Your internship should be included in your study curriculum and directly contribute to your academic results.
  • Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships.
  • You are either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
