The Hogeschool der Kunsten Den Haag is seeking a highly skilled Piano Repertoire Educator to join its Classical Department. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the institution's mission of providing high-quality music education.

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced educator with expertise in contemporary piano repertoire. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a 2-year course on contemporary piano repertoire, working closely with the main subject teachers of the piano section.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Music or equivalent diploma, have demonstrable affinity with the Royal Conservatoire's mission and vision, and be proficient in English. Additionally, they will be willing to complete the conservatoire's Artist as Teacher training program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach a 2-year course on contemporary piano repertoire to students from bachelor year 3 and 4
  • Collaborate closely with main subject teachers of the piano section
Requirements
  • Master of Music or equivalent diploma
  • Demonstrable affinity with the Royal Conservatoire's mission and vision
  • Proficient in English
  • Willingness to complete the conservatoire's Artist as Teacher training program
Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary package, including an estimated annual salary of €55,000 - €65,000 (scale 11 CAO HBO), depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include a generous vacation scheme, 8% holiday allowance, and 8.3% end-of-year bonus. Health insurance is also offered on favorable terms.
