**About the job**

This position will report to the Senior Manager Strategy and Product and will be responsible for spearheading the implementation of ‘data by design’ principles and establishing robust data collection at every stage of the product lifecycle. This role will have the expertise to drive the continuous enhancement of our portfolio suite, ensuring that every decision is informed by solid data insights.

The role involves developing and implementing a data strategy that aligns with product design and development. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data collection, analyze product performance, and provide insights to inform strategy and decisions. Additionally, you'll lead efforts to improve data quality, benchmark against competitors, refine the product roadmap, and monitor post-launch performance. Working closely with finance [SS1], marketing, sales, and customer support, you’ll ensure product performance aligns with business objectives and stay updated on industry trends in data analytics and product management.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that integrates seamlessly with the product design and development process. _
- Conduct a thorough analysis of existing data infrastructure and processes to identify strengths and weaknesses.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers, delivery managers, and data specialists to understand data needs at each stage of the product lifecycle.
- Design and document a data strategy that outlines clear objectives, methodologies, and timelines for implementation.
- Evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies to support data collection, storage, and analysis.
- Analyze product performance data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and the impact of changes. _
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish benchmarks for product performance evaluation.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct deep-dive analysis into specific areas of product performance to uncover root causes and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize improvement opportunities based on data-driven recommendations
- Lead initiatives to enhance data quality and reliability, ensuring that our products consistently meet high standards. _
- Establish data quality standards and develop processes for ongoing monitoring and validation.
- Implement data governance practices to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Identify and address data quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on best practices for data collection, management, and usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed data collection mechanisms throughout the product experience. _
- Work closely with portfolio managers and learning designers to integrate data collection requirements into product specifications and user stories.
- Partner with product teams to implement tracking solutions and instrumentation for data collection.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure consistent implementation of data collection mechanisms across products and platforms.
- Solicit feedback from stakeholders to continuously refine and improve data collection processes and instrumentation.

**About you**
- Proven 5-10 years experience in a similar role or field.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Product Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Product Management, with a strong emphasis on data analytics and performance measurement.
- High Proficiency in data analysis tools
- Experience with creating PowerBI dashboards or similar platforms
