The Team

The Tommy Hilfiger Menswear division is a key business driver within PVH Europe, based in the Amsterdam European HQ. The team is comprised of five sub-teams: Design, Merchandising & Sales, Production, Sourcing & Development, and Buying & Planning. These teams work together to create high-quality products for the global consumer base.

The Position

We are seeking a Product Merchandiser to join our Merchandising team. As a key member of the team, you will work collaboratively with the Dress Casual Product Merchandising Director to create seasonal strategies and work closely with the Design and Product Development teams to create high-end quality products.

  • Develop and implement range plan strategies, taking into consideration the needs of Wholesale, Retail, and E-commerce channels for Tommy Hilfiger MSW EUR Markets.
  • Work collaboratively with the Dress Casual Product Merchandising Director to create seasonal strategies and lead range plan strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with the Design & Product Development teams to create an efficient and profitable collection, balancing commercial product needs with seasonal design direction.
  • Present the line to all market stakeholders during key calendar touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising team to define the optimum consumer assortment and key product pushes for the season.
  • Create various analyses on the collection throughout the season to review sales results, pricing architecture, product assortment, and suggest tweaks where necessary to maximize category potential.
  • Lead the definition of the sampling plan for the regional showrooms.
  • Forecast the line to identify potential risks, opportunities, and aid in capacity/fabric pre-bookings.
  • Manage PLM systems for the team, ensuring data integrity at all times.
  • Identify and implement best practices to ensure effective use of time and maximum output in the team.
  • Complete ad-hoc seasonal projects.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Merchandiser with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record of building successful businesses across all KPIs. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4+ years of Merchandising or Buying experience, with Menswear experience preferred.
  • Online/Direct-to-Consumer experience a plus.
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and build a narrative around trends/patterns in the data.
  • Team player with an ability to develop, foster, and leverage strong cross-functional relationships with Design, PD, Sales, Marketing, etc.
  • Proactive with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Organization skills and an ability to manage multiple projects/seasons simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel.
  • Experience with PLM style management system a plus.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Passionate about the Tommy Hilfiger Brand and products.
