About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Expert Credit Risk Model Governance Specialist to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our Credit Risk Model Ownership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of credit risk models, ensuring their integrity, and driving strategic decisions that support our bank's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of credit risk model development, deployment, and maintenance
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure model quality and compliance
- Development and implementation of governance frameworks to enhance model risk management
- Stakeholder engagement and communication on model-related matters
- Identification and mitigation of potential risks associated with credit risk models
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, etc.)
- Minimum 2-10 years of experience in a related role, preferably within the financial sector
- Strong knowledge of the CRD/CRR framework and credit risk model regulations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment
What We Offer
- A competitive salary range of EUR 80,000 - EUR 120,000 per annum, based on experience

Working Environment
The Model Ownership team operates within the ABN AMRO Bank's Credit Risk division, which forms the Second Line of Defense for credit risk management.
