Shipbuilding Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Nouvall Engineering Services.
Job SummaryAs a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for creating construction plans, arrangements, and drawings for our shipbuilding projects. You will work with 2D and 3D software, including Autocad, Cadmatic, Catia, and Solidworks, to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop construction plans, arrangements, and drawings for shipbuilding projects
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient project execution
- Work with production and contractors for outsourced work, as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years of experience in shipbuilding or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as shipbuilding or engineering
- Proficiency in CAD systems, including NUPAS (3D) or Catia
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Good knowledge of English and Dutch, both verbally and in writing
- EU nationality
