As a Research Scientist II in our Advanced Technology team, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that drive novel electron optical concepts and support R&D in product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our global team to develop and market the world's most advanced Transmission Electron Microscopes.
  • Drive novel electron optical concepts based on solid scientific research and demonstrate technology feasibility.
  • Support R&D in product development and contribute to the development of our next generation TEMs.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Applied Physics or a related field, preferably in the field of laser physics.
  • Understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of TEM operation.
  • Hands-on experience with independently setting up experiments with lasers and optical systems.
  • Motivated to work in both an industry and academia setting, bridging the gap between academic proof-of-principle work and industrial prototype development.
  • Affinity with instrumentation and method development.
  • Fluent in English.

Location:

Eindhoven, The Netherlands, with 50% of your time based in Israel (Rehovot) and 50% in our Eindhoven office.
