Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Mobeco Group B.V. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for our yacht projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other yacht systems.
- Conduct technical assessments to ensure manufacturability and feasibility of yacht designs.
- Provide technical support to project managers and lead engineers to establish scope and planning.
- Identify and propose solutions to technical bottlenecks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Minimum BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in yacht design and construction, with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of production techniques and manufacturability of parts.
- Experience with relevant regulations, such as Lloyd's, Solas, and the Large Yacht Code.
- EU citizenship required.
- Excellent primary and secondary working conditions.
