Job Title: Process Specialist Procurement

As a Process Specialist Procurement at Neways, you will play a crucial role in standardizing purchasing processes and ensuring their effective implementation across the entire organization and its operating companies.

You will operate strategically, working analytically to identify areas for improvement, set company-wide standards, and drive their implementation. Your responsibility will be to develop realistic development paths, resulting in a solid purchasing process.

Neways is already transitioning to a uniform way of working, and multiple improvements have been identified. Your challenge will be to execute these improvements and define new ones, while effectively implementing proposed changes.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a considerable level of stakeholder management experience. You will be actively involved in driving the cultural change necessary to successfully absorb improvements.

You will collaborate closely with the supply chain management team and the IT department, understanding the functionalities and parameter settings of ERP systems used by large, internationally oriented organizations. These teams will assist you in technologically supporting the process methodology you apply to internal processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a vision for the Neways' purchasing process
  • Develop (continuous) improvement projects and supporting tools
  • Develop technical and financial business cases to implement purchase process improvements
  • Support and follow up on the implementation of the standardized purchasing process
  • Advise on all aspects of purchase processes
  • Evaluate implemented process improvements
  • Maintain good business relations with other business process specialists and process owners
  • Assist purchasing and planning departments in solving process-related and change-related issues
  • Contribute to bridging the gap between operational business and Neways' strategy
