About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical CAD Engineer to join our team in Nootdorp. As an Electrical CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems, cabinets, and schemes using EPLAN. You will work on electrical and automation aspects of equipment for onshore, offshore, and subsea applications.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems, cabinets, and schemes using EPLAN;
  • Work on electrical and automation aspects of equipment for onshore, offshore, and subsea applications;
  • Liaise with the design team to review, advise, and consult on practical and safety-related aspects of the design;
  • Complete technical upgrades and technical manuals;
  • Lead the execution of acceptance testing and validation, and participate in field pilot projects;
  • Provide complex issue resolution and be the point of contact for the electrical side of products.

Our Requirements

  • You have a BSc. degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or have reached a similar level by experience;
  • You have experience working with EPLAN Electric P8 and/or EPLAN pro panel;
  • You are familiar with norms for electrical guidelines, such as NEN-EN-IEC 60204, NEN-EN-IEC 62061, and NEN-EN-ISO 13850;
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken;
  • Experience with PLC programming is considered a plus;
  • Experience in electrical design is considered a plus.
