About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Trainee to join our team at Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht. As a Purchasing Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting the Purchasing Team Leader in daily operations, including procurement, inventory management, and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in procurement and inventory management processes
  • Coordinate with suppliers and employees to ensure smooth operations
  • Develop knowledge of purchasing and finance administration systems
  • Participate in team efforts to tackle challenges and improve efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees and suppliers

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a hospitality or tourism-related study program
  • Trustworthy and detail-oriented
  • Proactive and enthusiastic
  • Available for five months or longer
  • Excellent communication skills in English (and ideally Dutch)
