About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DLT Engineer (Architecture) for Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) systems to join our new DLT team at the Deutsche Bundesbank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a scalable and resilient DLT architecture that is seamlessly integrated into existing IT infrastructures.
  • Set up, integrate, and operate a DLT platform in cloud environments (private, hybrid, public).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and operation of the DLT platform.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the DLT industry and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, software engineering).
  • Very good knowledge of Solidity or other EVM-related programming languages.
  • Experience with web applications/services and backend APIs concepts.
  • Knowledge of Web3 technologies such as tokenization, custody, data indexers, dApps, cross-chain bridging, oracles, rollups with ZKP cryptography or confidential computing.
  • Ability to work in a team in an agile environment and communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
  • Good written and spoken German and very good English skills.
