Pipeline Specialist

Your Opportunity:

As a Pipeline Specialist with Van Storm Recruitment, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of offshore and energy projects. You will design and detail complex piping systems in 3D, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and maintainability of plant layouts.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in all stages of the design process, from concept to client review, while working on high-impact infrastructure projects.

• Design and model piping systems in 3D using AutoCAD Plant 3D
• Produce deliverables such as General Arrangement Drawings, support drawings, piping MTOs, and Equipment Weight & COG reports
• Review plant models in Navisworks for design integrity, clash detection, accessibility, and maintainability
• Draft technical specifications, P&IDs, and isometric drawings
• Perform basic stress and material checks and advise on appropriate selections
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines including Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Process, and Instrumentation
• Participate in BIM coordination and interdisciplinary design reviews
• Support installation and construction phases with inspections and quality checks
• Ensure compliance with relevant offshore and energy industry standards
• Contribute to client reviews and act as a technical point of contact throughout project phases
