About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Operations Engineer to join our team in Eindhoven, responsible for supporting the introduction and sustainability of advanced TEM modules in our manufacturing process.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative microscopy solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to the factory to ensure timely shipping of high-quality systems to customers.
  • Collaborate with factory and field service engineers to install and upgrade newly introduced systems and modules.
  • Solve complex problems and ensure system specifications are met.
  • Support or lead NPI projects according to the Product Management Process (PMP).
  • Craft and maintain work instructions and define factory process flow.
  • Perform hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and training of personnel as required.
  • Work closely with suppliers to tackle technical and quality issues and support the introduction of new parts and modules.
  • Implement engineering changes to improve quality, manufacturability, and costs of components or modules.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with knowledge of electron microscopy being a significant advantage.
  • A degree in a technical field such as engineering or physics is required, or a combination of engineering education and relevant work experience that demonstrates the required skills.
  • Experience in project management and the ability to cope with the dynamics of a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent English language skills, with Dutch being a plus.
  • A collaborative team player with a pragmatic approach.
