Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Logistics and Hub Manager to oversee operations at our third-party logistics (3PL) facility in Venlo, specifically catering to our Automotive clientele. The role is crucial in supporting the automotive supply chain, particularly for production lines across the EMEA region and manufacturing bases in Asia. The Logistics and Hub Manager will be responsible for comprehending customer needs, streamlining logistics processes, and managing service providers to maximize sales revenue and operational profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Delta manufacturing facilities for effective supply and demand forecasting.
  • Oversee and facilitate inbound shipments from Asia to the 3PL facility.
  • Ensure adequate 3PL resources are available for inbound logistics, customs clearance, repacking, and outbound shipping.
  • Develop and implement new processes and improvements within the 3PL to align with customer specifications.
  • Conduct monthly business reviews (MBR) and monitor key performance indicators (KPI) with service providers.
  • Work alongside sales managers to address new customer requirements and optimize logistics processes.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in automotive logistics.
  • Proficiency in managing dynamic supply and demand scenarios.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in an additional European language or Chinese is advantageous.
  • Expertise in negotiation and collaboration with various functions and business partners.
  • A customer-focused mindset with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all tasks.
