About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Engineer to join our team at Kendrion NV. As a key member of our Supply Chain Services (SCS) department, you will play a vital role in coordinating projects, fostering supplier relationships, and ensuring the maintenance of product quality.

Your Responsibilities

As a Supply Chain Engineer, you will be responsible for sourcing necessary components promptly and cost-effectively. Your expertise will guide engineering decisions on manufacturability and testability (DFX), including defining test systems/methodologies and integrating new components.

Additionally, you will monitor project progress, ensure timely delivery, maintain quality standards, and manage budgets. You will also oversee technicians and working students within the SCS department, leveraging your commercial insight to contribute to project planning, pre-calculation, and execution strategies.

Your Profile

  • A completed MBO+ or HBO education, preferably in a technical field
  • Thorough knowledge of the (components) market
  • Organizational talent
  • Demonstrable experience in working as an engineer or technical buyer
  • Strong communication and social skills, with the ability to create support within the SCS team and with the Engineers and Project Managers
  • Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both oral and written
  • Eager to learn
  • Living in the Enschede region or willing to relocate there
  • Driving license B is a plus
