Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced E/E Architect to join our team in Eindhoven, Netherlands. As an E/E Architect, you will play a crucial role in developing the Electric/Electronic architecture for the entire DAF Vehicle, including the PACCAR Powertrain.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and design the E/E architecture within a particular domain (preferably connectivity), working closely with fellow architects.
- Map functions onto E/E components within the architecture.
- Refine functional interfaces to network interfaces, such as CAN(-FD) and automotive ethernet and hardwired I/O.
- Map and refine functional and non-functional requirements to Control Systems, including both Functional Safety and Cyber Security.
- Author E/E requirement specifications of functions as well as Technical Safety Concepts where applicable.
- Maintain, improve, and extend the architecture.
Requirements
- Technical education on Bachelor or Master level with a specialisation in Control theory, Electrical- or Automotive engineering.
- 2+ years of relevant automotive experience.
- Knowledge of embedded software and/or hardware.
- Knowledge of automotive safety and standards (ISO 26262 and SPICE).
- Experience with Change- and Configuration management is a plus.
- Experience with IBM Rhapsody, UML, and DOORSNG is a plus.
Personal Qualities
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially listening and convincing.
- Analytical skills and the ability to abstract/conceptualize.
- Ability to explain complex technical information clearly and to the point.
- Ability to collaborate across different groups having varying levels of expertise and skill.
- Fluent in English language - effective communication in both verbal and written form. Willing to learn Dutch language.
