Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Accounting Specialist within our Finance Division, you will be integral to our headquarters, overseeing all accounting functions to ensure precise and high-quality financial reporting. Your extensive expertise in accounting will support the Head of Accounting and the team, contributing to the financial accounting processes for both JGAAP and IFRS across various European offices.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing high-quality accounting practices in accordance with JGAAP and IFRS standards.
  • Independently managing the closing processes and ensuring timely reporting.
  • Conducting financial analyses related to JGAAP and IFRS closures.
  • Utilizing advanced data analysis tools, such as Power BI, to interpret and present financial data.
  • Overseeing specific accounting areas, including fee bookings and tax alignment.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial closing.
  • Coaching junior team members to enhance their performance and professional growth.
  • Maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger and ensuring compliance with SOX regulations.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in financial accounting or reporting, preferably within the banking sector.
  • Familiarity with multi-GAAP environments and ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proactive attitude towards developing accounting solutions and guiding team members.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization techniques.
  • A commitment to integrity, accuracy, and teamwork.
