About the Role
Vattenfall is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Business Unit Offshore Wind team, specifically for the Hollandse Kust Zuid (HKZ) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform fault diagnosis and trend analysis to ensure optimal wind turbine performance
- Deliver exceptional service and maintenance to our HKZ windfarm, comprising multiple offshore wind turbines
- Teach and assess technicians on the job, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
- Provide safety and technical reports, maintaining accurate documentation
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience as a technician, preferably in the wind industry, with a strong background in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics is desirable, with experience in operations and maintenance, as well as large/complex construction projects
- Proven problem-solving skills to minimize outages and ensure efficient operations
- Strong safety consciousness, with a commitment to upholding the highest safety standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Valid driving license, with the ability to work shifts at the project location in IJmuiden
