Drive Meaningful Change in Our Global IT Team

Abacus Medicine is seeking a talented Software Developer to join our global Software Development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing and shaping our future digital platform.

Your Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing new features critical to our business operations and development;
  • Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders to clarify requirements and needs;
  • Updating our technical platform to ensure scalability and maintainability;
  • Participating in planning and sprint meetings to drive project success;
  • Handling incoming bugs and minor change requests with efficiency and effectiveness;
  • Debugging, fixing errors, creating unit and integration tests, and refactoring code to ensure high-quality deliverables;
  • Applying best practices to ensure code performance and maintainability, including Test Driven Development;
  • Working closely with Danish colleagues using Pair Programming to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3-6 years of experience with C# and MS.NET;
  • Strong programming skills in C# and a good understanding of MVC/Razor and SQL;
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes, including automatic testing, deployment, and release;
  • Experience with unit testing and a willingness to learn and adapt;
  • Experience with React or similar Frontend TypeScript languages is an advantage;
  • Experience with Azure would also be an advantage;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio and Git;
  • Bilingual in English and Hungarian (both spoken and written);
  • Attention to detail, ability to work flexibly, and a strong team player with problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and take initiative.
