Flow Traders is seeking talented individuals to join our dynamic Trading team in Amsterdam. As a Graduate Trader, you will embark on a comprehensive 3-month training program, gaining in-depth knowledge of our core business, financial products, and trading processes. You will collaborate with fellow graduates on a team project, developing your skills and understanding of a Trader's role in the financial ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement trading strategies to optimize profitability
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, making informed decisions to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with senior traders and quantitative researchers to strengthen your understanding of trading processes
  • Participate in trading simulations and quantitative classes to enhance your skills
  • Contribute to the overall profitability of your assigned trading desk

Requirements:

  • University degree in (quantitative) Finance, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, or related field
  • Demonstrable interest in trading and global financial markets
  • Understanding of financial products and trading processes
  • Proficiency in Excel and IT systems, with a keen interest in development languages
  • Excellent mental arithmetic and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for creative problem-solving and collaboration
