We are seeking a highly skilled Data Lake Solutions Architect to join our team at Uni Systems. As a senior technical expert, you will play a key role in guiding our development team to create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our institution.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the senior technical expert to ensure that our capabilities are developed to meet the institution's enterprise needs.
- Engage with user communities to capture operational requirements and translate them into solutions.
- Participate in exercises such as Coalition Warrior Interoperability Exercise (CWIX) as a technical lead, deploying Lake Diver and Data Lake capability.
- Develop test plans, architectures, and support the execution of exercises as a key SME.
- Visit operational entities to conduct interviews with operators and understand user requirements.
- Produce detailed component specifications and transform them into detailed designs for implementation.
- Provide comprehensive guidance on the development of solution components, ensuring they align with relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards, and practices.
- Act as part of the development team, developing software code if needed.
- Ensure adherence to appropriate standards, including industrial, international, and NATO standards.
- Provide advice on technical aspects of system development and integration, supporting change management processes.
- Assist in the preparation of technical plans and ensure that appropriate technical resources are made available.
- Well-versed in JavaScript and/or C# with at least 4 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of systems integration in high-efficiency information exchange ecosystems.
- Knowledge of developing solutions with Elastic Search or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of industry-standard software and system architecting, including Data Bricks, Apache Kafka, Sparks, RabbitMQ, and/or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of modern software development methodologies, such as software development life cycles and Agile methodologies, with a certification in Agile software development and/or SCRUM.
- Familiarity with JSON, XML, XSD, and the ability to learn XQUERY and XPATH rapidly.
- Desirable knowledge of XSLT and DNS, domains, PKI certificates, network designs.
- Comfortable presenting solutions to working groups.
- Flexible, cooperative, and customer-focused attitude, with high standards for quality and quantity.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required, as most of the work is conducted in the English language.
