Senior Consultant for Corporate Communications

About the Role
As a Senior Consultant with Teneo, you will be a key member within our account teams, responsible for managing client accounts and executing holistic, integrated communications initiatives. Your tasks will include corporate communications and investor relations programs, executive positioning campaigns, media relations strategies, and issues and crisis management.
We are looking for highly motivated, entrepreneurial individuals who can think outside the box and navigate complex situations. You will work collaboratively to deliver best-in-class service to our clients. This role is based in Amsterdam, and you must be native/fluent in Dutch and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage client accounts and support client work in the Amsterdam and global offices
- Prepare client-ready written content, strategic plans, press releases, talking points, Q&As, briefing memos, and distributed media materials
- Serve as a reliable and adaptable resource for senior team members capable of overseeing others
- Contribute to the Business Development process, including proposal development and pitch participation
- Support operational requirements in the office, including marketing events and business development activities
Required Skills and Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, media, investor relations, or relevant fields
- Strong track record of managing client relationships
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to see complex projects through to execution
- Familiarity with the media landscape and engaging with journalists
- Experience with financial communications, calendar work, and special situations
- Understanding of business and capital markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
- Ability to navigate complex or ambiguous environments
- Familiarity with social media platforms and media and monitoring tools
