The Trade Compliance Analyst II role is essential in ensuring that our company's import and export activities comply with the regulations set forth by Customs authorities and other relevant governmental entities. This position serves as a key contact for inquiries and escalations from various sites and stakeholder groups.

This role is situated within the Global Logistics & Distribution division and is based in the Netherlands. At Danaher, our mission is to continuously reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this position, you will have the rewarding opportunity to:

• Design and implement import/export processes related to broker and agent management, including oversight of broker performance metrics and daily operations.
• Conduct audits of transactional reviews and post-entry assessments.
• Maintain the recordkeeping processes for trade compliance.
• Release trade compliance holds on shipments for escalated transactions.
• Coordinate and prepare applications for trade compliance import or export licenses, ensuring proper utilization, maintenance, and closure.
• Manage trade data classification, country of origin, and partner government agency information at regional levels to ensure compliant and efficient customs clearance.
• Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of customs valuation declaration processes or reconciliation programs.
• Collect data and execution elements for Free Trade Agreement programs to ensure adherence to company protocols.
• Support government audits as necessary.
• Assist in the implementation of trade automation software related to compliance.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other third-party service providers to ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all applicable regional regulations.

Key qualifications for this role include:

• A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of direct experience in import and export operations.
• Strong knowledge and interpretation skills regarding European import and export regulations.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• A solid understanding of global supply chain and logistics processes.

On-Site Requirement:

This role requires a minimum of three days per week on-site presence.
