Join Damen Naval as a Technical Specialist Rules & Regulations

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist Rules & Regulations to join our team at Damen Naval. As a key member of our basic engineering team, you will be responsible for developing statutory plans and ensuring compliance with ship specifications, industry norms, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop statutory plans and ensure compliance with ship specifications, industry norms, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and external entities to deliver the best technical solutions.
  • Research, analyze, and interpret relevant norms, rules, and regulations, as well as customer requirements for Plans and Arrangements (P&A) deliverables.
  • Ensure that applicable norms, rules, and regulations are accessible to all relevant teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Shipbuilding, Architecture, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Extensive experience with and broad knowledge of Class- and Statutory regulations, preferably acquired with ships or offshore installations.
  • Proficiency with 2D CAD and 3D CAD systems such as MicroStation, Cadmatic, and/or 3DExperience (Catia).
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
