Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Global Finance Business Partner to join our team at Enza Zaden. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and support to our Seed Operations function.

As a Global Finance Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to our Senior Management team, providing financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions. You will also be responsible for managing and supporting the planning and control cycle, as well as conducting and preparing financial analyses, business cases, and investment plans.

Our ideal candidate has a Master's degree and around 10 years of relevant working experience in Controlling and Business Partnering, preferably in a supply chain environment. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have the right drive and ambition to make a career within our growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive and optimize the financial performance of the Function by managing the plan-to-perform cycle which includes a best in class reporting, budgeting and forecasting process across regions, countries, business lines, crops and crop segments;
  • Business and sparring partner of the Functional Director and Senior Management;
  • Member of Functional Management Team and Crop Leadership Team;
  • Support the development, implementation and monitoring of strategies and actions for the function and crops;
  • Lead and drive functional business development activities (e.g., business cases, M&A activities etc.);
  • Member of Global Business Control Lead Team and sparring partner of CFO and Finance Management Team;
  • Develop and build capability with regional and local Business Controllers and/or Finance Managers.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years professional experience as Finance Business Partner preferably in a supply chain context;
  • Experience in an international and multi-cultural work environment;
  • Analytical and strategic mindset. You challenge people in the organization to continuously improve on strategic performance;
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities at all levels, and you know how to make impact and influence Senior Management;
  • Team player with high integrity with a personal and professional point of view;
  • Curious, innovative, energetic and self-confident;
  • Proficient in the English language;
  • Ambition to challenge yourself and grow within the company.
